Around Mont-Blanc

Discover the Mont-Blanc region hiking and flying, the famous "Hike and Fly". What could be better than enjoying a beautiful walk and flying down?
This is what we will achieve throughout this course. We offer you here an experience rich in freedom and escapism. Beautiful and simple hikes, maybe venturing into the high mountains with a touch of glacial hiking: this is a super fusion with nights in mountain refuges allowing you to visit the French and Italian sides of Mont-Blanc.
Facing Mont-Blanc or a stone's throw from the Grandes Jorasses, you will enjoy superb landscapes and discover magnificent refuges as well as an incredible and comfortable bivouac, a real eagle's nest hanging in the mountains: we guarantee you incredible memories!
For who?
You are an autonomous pilot (you fly with a classic wing or skingle skin) with at least 30 solo flights in calm conditions. You already have some notions of thermal flight or soaring and do "front facing".

When you make your reservation we will send you a detailed technical description of your course where everything is clearly explained!
A discovery of the hiking flight sites on the Italian and French sides of the Mont-Blanc including a high altitude foray depending on the weather and aerological conditions. The objective is to discover beautiful, wild spots and to enjoy each flight. The instructor guides will be happy to give you advice to perfect your technique or better understand mountain flight. If the conditions are good, hopefully we can do a few turns in the thermals, let's be opportunistic!
The Around Mont-Blanc course is completely in line with what we are committed to helping people discover: the mountains and paragliding.
After a few hours of walking during which to enjoy the sumptuous landscapes, we will try to fly down into the valley to enjoy a gentle and peaceful descent.
Some nights will be exceptional, such as the one spent in the eagle's nest at Bivouac Gervasutti. Your instructor guide will share with you his knowledge of the area and ensure the right conditions for the flight.
We would like to share our knowledge of this discipline and give you some additional keys to progress in your autonomy as a pilot.
(The schedule may vary depending on the weather conditions)
